Election season
We rightly say that India has all the seasons to see in India. And now a days election season in India. The newspapers are filled with big pictures of ruling party leaders. Maximum of the time its written "laying foundation stone for hospital, school, university, Roads etc etc..". We rarely see that its written "we have built so many hospitals, dispensaries, schools, unviersity, roads etc...". Does the politicians think we are so dumb that we dont know difference between "laying stone" and "built".
Why dont the election comission makes it mandatory that parties to declare which laid down stones have been completed in the last five years or so. Or can we get this information on websites of all such parties that we committed so many promises in our manifesto and have completed so many out of them. If not completed whats the reason.
Most importantly, can the ruling party declare year vise that this is total assets in money every year and whether its increasing every year or not? and how much its decreased in election year.

One night@call centre
This weekend I passed by reading the novel by Chetan Bhagat "one night @call centre"
Well I am not a habitual of novell reading, though I had habbit in my final year of Engg reading Hindi Detective novels. But an english novel, this is the first time. I heard about this writer from one of my brother in law. Though I am not good at english/literacy and also I am not a analyst as well. Still since I had this blog, I prefeered to write my views about that book.
1. First good part is the main character of the story is not a filmi hero. Rather all heroetic acts are done by surrounding characters.
2. The second intersting part was when there was a scene of talk with God, I really got upset and I thought this is not at all a good novel and its not so worked hard type of novel. Suddenly in the end, novelist caught my nerve and accepted that the scene of God could be unacceptable to many and still he preferred to write that. Still I like it that he knows the weak point of it and he tries to close this issue by giving it a choice for readers to accept this point or not.
3. The writer tried to give us a lesson to live life the way we want rather than being driven by others like your boss, your parents or someone else.
4. He used a good and easy words english rather than proving his tough vocabulary which normally novelist do. If he used some english literature person to set this language right for him, then I must congratulate that man rather than novelist on this point.
Well I liked it.

Pub Attacks at Banglore
The so called Shri ram Sena people attacked the pubs. They claimed that alcohol drinks by female is not a part of Indian culture. May I ask these people is it a culture to beat Females publically in Indian culture. It was shown on elecgtonic media, females were beaten up by these guys who are supposidely care takers of Indian culture.
Better they should mind themselves first. Political parties (congress or BJP also say that its against Indian culture, if so why dont they close down pubs immdtly. They will never do that because its earning for them. Lets stop double standards.

mumbai Attacks and our approach
I am quite unhappy the way we react to the attacks on India like Mumbai attacks two months back. We ( as per our media) are proudly saying that we are mounting pressure on Pakistan to take action on the militants living in Pakistan. And what are we doing with the militants caught in India and still waiting to be hanged (despite the fact he was sentenced for this punishment by supreme court of India).
We claim that there is international pressure on Pakistan against terrorism, And we find nothing on them rather more and more financial aids to Pak.
When will we declare war against this Gurilla war. Until when we will keep on saying that this was terrorist attack. When will we accept this as Gurilla war, this is just not an attack, this is war. Can we really win this by just saying few words before media and burning some candles in a peace march. No we need to have a stronger policy for this.
